he primary responsibility of BRAA is to monitor local government to identify possible legislative action which would increase industry regulation or increase the cost of doing business. When adverse issues arise, a comprehensive effort is undertaken to insure that our position is presented in the most effective manner possible. The association also monitors legislative issues on a state and national issues through the Apartment Association of Louisiana and the National Apartment Association.
